Consulate wait times
Visa applications go through the Spanish consulate that serves where you legally live — and the queue for an appointment varies wildly between them. Here's what we're currently seeing.

Consulate websiteWork the queue into your plan
The appointment wait sits between "documents ready" and "application submitted" — plan around it, not after it.
Book before you're ready
Slots open on rolling windows. In slow consulates it's normal to book the appointment first and finish the paperwork while you wait — as long as the perishable documents stay in date.
Watch document expiry
A criminal record certificate issued 90 days before a far-off appointment is a wasted certificate. Sequence slow documents first, perishable ones against the appointment date.
Never pay for "priority slots"
Consulate appointments are free. Third parties reselling them are at best unnecessary and at worst a scam that gets applications flagged.
We book these every week
Appointment booking is part of every application we handle — you bring the documents, we handle the queue.
