James Blick — a Kiwi-turned-Madrileño — moved to Madrid with his wife Yoly in 2011. He trained as a lawyer, directed TV commercials, then built two businesses, raised a family and navigated Spanish taxes, property and bureaucracy first-hand. Through Spain Revealed he now helps others move to Spain thoughtfully — “no rose-tinted glasses, or pretending the bureaucracy doesn't exist.”

Spain Revealed is James Blick's resource platform for moving to Spain thoughtfully. He built it after noticing friends seeking relocation advice had plenty of information but no framework to apply it to their own situation. His mission: “help you figure out what's actually involved, so you can make a smart decision and move forward with confidence” — without expensive mistakes, wasted weekends in research rabbit holes, or constant second-guessing.
